Coding Competition
A timed competitive programming round. Ship correct, efficient solutions under pressure.

- 16 Aug 2026
Solve.Break.Build.Three stages. One ultimate challenge.
A three-part technical gauntlet: solve, break, build. Compete through competitive coding, cybersecurity and product engineering.
Schedule
All stages are underway or complete. Follow the timeline for what happens next.
About
TRIALATHON is a progression, not three separate events. Every team starts at Part 1, and only the strongest carry forward. Each stage asks for something the previous one did not.
Part 1
A timed competitive programming round. Ship correct, efficient solutions under pressure.
Part 2
A CTF-style security gauntlet: exploit, analyse and defend across web, binary and forensics.
The three parts
Each part runs on its own schedule, team size and scoring model.

Problem statements
Problems unlock in stages. Unreleased statements stay hidden until the organisers publish them.
A campus network is modelled as an undirected graph of relay nodes. Given the adjacency list and a source node, report the minimum number of hops needed to reach every other node, or -1 where no route exists.
Submission
Single source file. Standard input to standard output.
Live standings
Ranks are recalculated from the scores organisers enter — this table updates itself while you watch.

1 July 2026
Team registration opens for the Coding Competition.
Updates
Schedule changes, releases and results are posted here first.
Shortlisted teams can confirm their slot for the Cybersecurity Hackathon until 10 September. Team size for this round is 2 to 4 members, and you may swap in one substitute member from your college.
Broken Token and Packets in the Dark are live on the problems page. Remaining challenges unlock in stages during the event window.
Recognition
Part winners, special awards and certificates across all three stages.
The team with the strongest combined performance across coding, security and building.

Questions
Any undergraduate student with a valid college ID. Teams may mix members from different colleges unless a specific round states otherwise.
It varies by part. The Coding Competition allows 1 to 3 members, the Cybersecurity Hackathon and the build round allow 2 to 4. The exact range is shown on each event page and enforced at registration.

Simulate a fixed-capacity cache under a hybrid eviction policy that prefers least-recently-used entries but protects any key accessed at least k times in the current window. Report the eviction order.
Submission
Single source file. Must run within 2 seconds for n up to 200000.

A packet capture from a compromised workstation contains an exfiltration channel hidden in ordinary-looking traffic. Identify the channel and recover the transferred file.

To be announced
Yes. TRIALATHON is designed as a progression: everyone starts at Part 1, and shortlisted teams advance to Part 2 and then Part 3. You register per part, and shortlisted teams are invited to confirm their slot.
The Coding Competition runs online. The Cybersecurity Hackathon and the final build round run on campus. Check each event page for the current mode.
Scores are entered by organisers and the leaderboard recalculates ranks from that data on every read. Part 1 uses ICPC-style ranking (problems solved, then penalty); Part 2 uses flag points; Part 3 uses jury scores. The page refreshes automatically while it is open.
Shortlists are drawn from the final standings of the preceding part, with a small number of wildcard slots at the organisers' discretion. Shortlists appear on the site only once published.
